为了规范低年级学生的英语书写，培养学生的审美能力、创新能力和动手操作能力，让学生能够结合图片及单词的分类来记忆单词，更好地提高学生学习英语的兴趣，给学生一个展示英语的舞台，2020年12月9日下午，我们迎来了涪陵外国语学校外语节--小学一年级组“我是小小设计师”英语单词卡片设计大赛的决赛。
In order to standardize the English writing of lower grade students, cultivate students' aesthetic ability, creative ability and hands-on operation ability, so that students can memorize words in combination with pictures and word classification, so as to better improve students' interest in learning English and give students a display of English , we had the final show of the 3nd Little Designer Contest of Primary School in Fuling Foreign Language School on the afternoon of December 9th, 2020 with the full expectation of the students.
在比赛前，考虑到低年级孩子的认读能力较差，老师们做了很多准备：课上，老师引导孩子一起做词汇游戏，让孩子了解单词的字母组合；课下，给家长留任务，督促孩子仔细观察再模仿参考图片进行单词设计。
每个小朋友都设计了自己的作品。有的是自己独立完成的设计，虽笔触稚嫩，但十足不易；有的是和家人合作完成的，体现了亲子合作的乐趣。综合来看，各班上交的作品都非常有诚意，凸显了孩子的设计想法，也体现了“趣味”二字的设计内涵。通过本次比赛，更好的激发了孩子对英语单词的认识，也进一步丰富了孩子对英语学科的认识。
Before the competition, considering the poor reading ability of the lower grade children, teachers made a lot of preparations: In class, the teachers guided the children to play vocabulary games together to let the children understand the letter combination of the words; after class, teachers asked the parents to urge the children to observe carefully and then imitate the reference pictures for word design.
Every child has designed his own work. Some of the designs were done independently, although the work was not very exquisite, but the students have tried their best to draw; some were done in cooperation with the family, reflecting the joy of parent-child cooperation. On the whole, the works handed in by each class are very sincere, highlighting the children's design ideas, and also embodies the design connotation of the word "fun". Through this competition, the children's understanding of English words has been better stimulated, and the children's understanding of English subjects has also been further enriched.
教师收集好作品之后，经由英语组评委对所有参赛作品的认真评比，分别从作品的创意、版面整洁度、色彩搭配、词汇寓意等方面进行了综合评价。每班评选出5名获奖的学生。这些作品美观、生动，充分展现了学生的想象力、创新能力，以及动手绘画的能力。
After the teachers collected the works, the English group judges carefully evaluated all the entries, and comprehensively evaluated the works in terms of creativity, layout cleanliness, color matching, and vocabulary meaning. Each class selects 5 award-winning students. These works are beautiful and vivid, and fully demonstrate the students' imagination, creativity, and hands-on drawing ability.
经过评委的评比打分，最后评选出本次比赛的佳绩：最佳创意奖8名，最佳构图奖8名，最佳设计奖8名，最佳寓意奖8名，最佳色彩奖8名。现在，就让我们一起来欣赏下宝贝们的佳作吧！
After scoring by the judges, the results of this competition were finally selected: 8 Best Creativity Awards, 8 Best Composition Awards, 8 Best Design Awards, 8 Best Meaning Awards, and 8 Best Color Awards. Now, let’s appreciate the paintings!
