为了丰富校园文化生活，营造班级浓厚的英语学习和交际氛围，让师生感受英语、应用英语、激发学生学习英语的兴趣，同时为学生提供展示才能的舞台，拓展学生视野，培养实践能力。2020年12月24日晚上，在同学们的满心期待中，我们迎来了涪陵外国语学校第三届外语节—八年级英语舞台剧展演。

活动开始，是由8.8班的同学带来的开场舞表演，8.8班同学热情精彩的舞蹈瞬间将全场气氛点燃，现场欢呼阵阵。
At the beginning of the activity, there was an opening dance performance brought by students of Class Eight. The enthusiastic and wonderful dance moments of the students ignited the atmosphere of the hall.
此次活动同学们参与的积极性很高，各班的学生娴熟纯正的英语口语、精美的道具、适当的情境设计及逼真的形象得到全体同学们的阵阵掌声。表演的同学们尽显各自的机智，用流利的口语表达并展示自己的英语潜能。每个班的表演各有特色，内容丰富，形式多样。让我们一起来欣赏下同学们的风采吧!
In this activity, students' enthusiasm for participating is very high. 首先，是8.1班和8.6班同学带来的《美女与野兽》，抑扬顿挫的语调，惟妙惟肖的表演将美女与野兽间的美好情感展现得淋漓尽致。
First of all, students from Class One and Six brought "The Beauty and The Beast" together. The beautiful relationship between the beauty and the beast has been shown incisively by the cadence of the tone and vivid performance.
8.3班同学表演的是《白雪公主》。美丽的白雪公主，和穿上七种不同颜色服装的七个小矮人，显得十分俏皮可爱。
The performance of Class Three is “Snow White”. The beautiful princess and the seven dwarfs dressed in seven different colors are very cute.
8.4班同学表演的是《白雪公主》中第三部分，剧中喻顺祥同学将反串的角色演绎得十分到位，一度引起全场观众尖叫连连。

8.5班同学带来的是《疯狂动物城》，同学们在舞台上井井有条的组织，精彩绝伦的表演带给了观众一场视听盛宴。

8.7班同学表演的是《爱丽丝梦游仙境》，不得不说7班同学的口语是真好听。清晰的发音，动听的语音语调，配上美丽的剧情，将现场的观众引入到了“仙境”一般。

最后表演的是8.8班同学，为我们带来的是《吵闹的邻居》。8.8班同学十分霸气的表演一度引得全场掌声阵阵。同时借助剧情告诉大家要替他人着想，与邻居和谐相处的道理。
The last performance is from Class Eight, which brings us “Noisy Neighbors”. Their performances are so freely and attractive. At the same time, with the help of the plot, it also tells us to think for others and live in harmony with our neighbors.
After the performance, all the students stood up and sang the song "You Raise Me Up". In the students' impassioned singing, we feel their growth in this activity and their gratitude to teachers and parents.
活动临近尾声，八年级年级组长彭红军主任对此次活动做了重要点评。他对本次参与的同学给予了高度的肯定和赞扬。同时，也表达了对八年级组全体英语老师的赞扬与感谢。最后彭主任用自己的亲身经历告诉同学们学英语的重要性，且勉励同学们继续努力，进一步提高英语学习的积极性和热情，增强自己的英语口语表达能力和水平，提升自身的综合素质。

比赛虽然结束了，但这样一场精彩的视听盛宴背后是涪陵外国语学校八年级师生的努力与付出。一个个灵动的人物，一出出经典的演绎，不仅诉说着学生们学习英语的热情，更彰显了该校全体英语老师教学的激情。青春盛放，英韵飞扬，小小舞台上充分展现出了涪外学子的青春风采！相信在此类趣味活动开展下，不仅可以丰富同学们的第二课堂生活，创造良好的学习氛围，还能让同学们充分表现自我，提升英语口语水平，为今后学习英语培养兴趣、奠定基础。
Although the competition is over, behind such a wonderful audio-visual feast is the efforts of the teachers and students of the eighth grade of Fuling Foreign Language School.
