春和景明，万物焕新；嘉木繁荫，育而秀成。适逢国际高中12年级学生刚刚跨入高三，为了让各位同学在最后的八个月里有方向、有目标、有信心、有毅力地备战高考，高三全体师生于2021年3月12日下午召开了新学期的第一次恳谈会。通过老师与学生近距离交流，全方位直击备考，述经历谈经验，定目标树信心；聚焦课堂内外，抓重点强弱项，找问题明方法，补短板提效率。适时的恳谈，发现问题，分析问题，解决问题，促进学生的成长，同时营造出更和谐美好的教学氛围，让同学们能够轻松愉悦、有信心地一步步迈向梦想。

Spring breeze and sunshine make everything look so brand new. The trees make a pleasant shade around the campus. At this time, grade 12 students of the International High School have just entered the senior year.  

In order to let students prepare for the college entrance examination with direction, goal, confidence and perseverance in the last eight months, all the teachers and students of Grade 12 held the symposium of this semester on the afternoon of March 12th, 2021.  Teachers and students communicated closely, and directly focused on the preparation for the exam in all directions. Some teachers shared the exam experience with students and helped students set their goals to establish their self-confidence.  All the teachers concentrated on problems inside and outside the classroom, making an effort to find weak points and relative methods to make up for students' shortcomings. At the symposium, teachers found problems, analyzed problems, solved problems and promoted students' growth. At the same time, they created a more harmonious and beautiful teaching atmosphere so that students can move towards their dreams easily and confidently step by step.

经验分享  树立信心

“不苦不累，高三无味”，是高考奋斗的滋味，是青春拼搏的印记。正当时，深味其苦；回首时，回味亦甜。蹇彬霞和曹星两位老师，给同学们讲述了自己高三学习和生活的经历，那些真实的学习片段，让同学们在情感共鸣中不断反思自我，这些真诚的经验分享，又帮助他们在反思中不断转变改进。心态决定状态，时刻保持一颗滚烫而热情的心，全力以赴自己心中的梦想，才能一步步靠近梦想。丢掉任性、骄傲，去除心浮气躁，唯有脚踏实地和持之以恒才能为自己加持。笔记+记忆，让知识落到实处；合理分配时间，更能提高学习效率。

Experience sharing and confidence building

Without bitterness and tiredness, the life of Grade 12 would be insipid. This is the struggling taste of the college entrance examination and the hard-working mark of youth. Two teachers, Jane and Sophia, told students about their learning and life experience of senior three. Those real learning fragments allowed students to continuously reflect on themselves in the emotional resonance. These sincere sharing of experiences helped them to constantly change and improve in reflection.“A healthy state of mind, is more powerful than one hundred kinds of wisdom.” We must keep a enthusiastic heart at all times, and try our best to achieve dreams. Only by being down-to-earth and earnest can we succeed. What’s more, note-taking and memorizing can make knowledge be absorbed effectively and reasonable allocation of time can improve learning efficiency.

真切恳谈   解疑答惑

本次“零距离”的师生交流会，按固定议程有序进行，班主任杨杰老师主持，课任教师发言，同学们发言，最后班主任作总结。会前同学们已针对自己在各科学习上的疑难点作出梳理，以便与各科老师作交流。各科老师分别针对每位同学的学习情况，诚恳地褒扬进步，肯定学科优势，同时指出短板和不足，鼓励学生要取长补短。物理罗明秀老师耐心地给每位同学做了详细的学情分析，并对症下药，给每位同学支招，提出了具体可行的建议。物理学科虽难，但罗老师恳切细致的讲解让同学们渐渐放下了焦虑和畏难情绪。在答疑解惑环节，同学们敞开心扉，不惧问题，大胆提出疑问，老师们认真聆听，答疑解惑，反思教学，耐心指点迷津；同学们一边认真聆听老师们的指导建议，一边及时做好学习笔记，整个座谈会上气氛轻松和谐。

Sincere talking and questions answering

The "no-distance" symposium was organized by Samantha, the class adviser of Grade 12. It was conducted in an orderly manner according to procedures. Teachers and students spoke in turn, and finally the class adviser made a summary. Before the symposium, students have sorted out their difficulties in the study of various subjects, so as to communicate with teachers of various subjects. Teachers of each subject sincerely praised the progress of each student based on the learning situation. At the same time, they pointed out the shortcomings of the students and encouraged them to learn from strengths of each other.

Physics teacher Michelle patiently gave each student a detailed academic analysis. She gave every student some strategies and put forward specific and feasible suggestions. Although physics is difficult, Michelle's earnest and detailed explanations gradually relieved students of the anxiety and fear. In the question-answering session, students opened their hearts and boldly asked questions. Teachers also listened carefully and solved the confusion patiently. While listening to teachers' suggestions, students took notes in time. The atmosphere of the whole forum was relaxing and harmonious.

如实总结 改进提升

最后班主任杨杰老师作了总结，汇总了恳谈会上诸多具有代表性的问题，对同学们提出了要求和具体建议，以期对症下药，解决问题，真正实现本次恳谈会应有的意义与价值。比如同学们要重视各门学科提前预习；多与学科老师沟通，学会减压、调节自我情绪；加强课堂知识的理解和内化，课后多加训练与巩固；养成独立思考和有错必纠的习惯；注重自我激励，同伴合作等。

在这场“零距离”的恳谈会中，同学们不仅收获了宝贵的学习经验，也感受到了老师们真诚倾听，悉心指导的关爱。在高考路上，同学们并不孤独，有同伴的互帮互助，有老师们一对一的辅导，相信同学们已具备了信心和勇气，备战2021澳洲高考。

Truthful summary and improvement

In the end, Samantha made a summary. She summarized many representative issues in the seminar, and put forward requirements and specific suggestions for students to solve their problems, which truly achieved the significance and value of this symposium. For example, students should attach great importance to previewing the lessons, communicate with the teachers, learn to reduce the stress and keep relaxed. To strengthen the understanding of the knowledge, more training and consolidation after class are necessary. Everyone is supposed to develop the habit of thinking independently and correcting mistakes promptly. Anyway, they should focus on self-motivation and cooperation, etc.

During the "no-distance" symposium, students not only gained valuable learning experience, but also felt the sincere care and guidance from teachers. On the way to the college entrance examination, they are not alone. We believe that students have gained the confidence and courage to prepare for the 2021 VCE exam with the help of peers and one-on-one coaching from teachers！
