2022年3月31日，重庆市涪陵区人民政府副区长冯星贵在区政府电子政务中心主任张微峰，区委教育工委委员、区教委副主任张德强陪同下冒雨深入涪陵外国语学校开展调研活动，就学校高质量发展与校长魏昌龙进行了深入交流。

冯区长一行，情满涪外，心系质量。首先认真了解学校素质教育开展情况，调研了游泳、播音主持、舞蹈、国际象棋、跆拳道、乒乓球等课堂教学情况，参观了学生书法、中医中药进学校基地、模特队、街舞、大学老师进学校开设美术课堂等。深入学生食堂和学生宿舍，对食堂的劳动文化、勤俭节约文化建设给予充分肯定，对学生的优良的住宿条件表示高兴。冯区长一行还特意来到高中教师办公室，慰问了全体高中教师，与优秀教师亲切交谈，希望各位老师再接再厉，取得“一炮打响”的好成绩。

译：District Mayor Feng and others have showed their passion to the school and concerns for quality. First of all, they carefully understood the development of quality education in the school, investigated the classroom teaching of swimming, broadcast hosting, dance, chess, taekwondo, table tennis, etc., and visited the school base for students' calligraphy, traditional Chinese medicine, model teams, hip-hop dance, art classes and so on. They entered the student canteen and dormitory, fully affirming the canteen's labor culture, construction of diligence and thrift culture, and expressing gratification at the comfortable accommodation conditions of the students. District Mayor Feng and others also came to the high school teachers' offices to express greetings to all high school teachers, and had a cordial conversation with some outstanding teachers. They hoped that the teachers could make persistent efforts to win an immediate success.

校长魏昌龙向冯区长一行汇报了学校与巴蜀中学深度合作，从下学期开始涪陵外国语学校高中部与重庆巴蜀中学（渝中区，校本部）实现“十二个同步”，将再次提升学校办学水平，实现教学质量再上新台阶。
