近日，为发展孩子们的想象力、动手操作能力，培养孩子们的参与意识、环保意识，初中部地理组在七年级举办了“变废为宝、低碳生活、保护地球”地球仪制作比赛。

通过地球仪的制作，学生们能够印象深刻地了解地球仪的构造，知道赤道的位置，认识经线、纬线以及极点等，同时提高动手动脑的能力，以及学习地理的兴趣。
