五月的风，清爽宜人；五月的雨，浓烈清新；五月的青春，神采飞扬；在这青春四溢的美好季节里，上外”语阅”·新纪元外语风采大会决赛于2023年5月10日在涪陵外国语学校顺利举行。

本次外语风采大会活动面向上海新纪元集团各校7年级至8年级的秋季赛期晋级学生开放。本次活动通过一系列展示外语风采、发展外语综合素养、促进外语学习的活动，丰富了学生的英语学习生活，全面提升了学生的英语素养，给学生们提供了一个挑战自我的机会。

译：This Foreign Language Style Conference event was open to students from 7th to 8th grade who advanced to the fall season in all Shanghai New Epoch Group schools. 此次外语风采大赛活动火爆，涉及东部、川渝、云贵三大赛区，20所学校。我校七、八年级共有185名秋季赛期晋级学生积极参加此次活动。

赛前，涪陵外国语学校初中英语组进行了精心准备，严格按照集团比赛规定，准备物料、布置赛场、发布比赛通知。在比赛当日，教师们组织学生们有序参加阅读比赛。开赛前二十分钟，学生们积极入场，监考教师分发专属于川渝赛区的参赛证和参赛手环，考生们脸上洋溢起了好奇、开心而自信的笑容。

译：Before the competition, Fuling Foreign Language School's middle school English group made careful preparations. They prepared materials, set up the playing field, and issued notices of the competition in strict accordance with the group's competition regulations. On the day of the competition, teachers organized students to participate in the reading competition in an orderly manner. Twenty minutes before the start of the competition, students entered actively, and the invigilator teachers distributed the participation cards and bracelets exclusively for Sichuan and Chongqing, and the candidates' faces were filled with curious, happy and confident smiles.

开赛前十五分钟，监考教师分发作答单后认真贴上条形码。赛前十分钟，监考教师分发比赛任务单，学生们好奇的翻看着精美的彩色任务单，准备答题。随着铃声一响，考试正式开始。比赛过程中，学生们全身心投入，从同学们专注认真的神情，可以看出同学们信心满满，斗志昂扬......经过一个小时的作答，学生们各自上交了一份满意的答卷。监考老师将学生们的答题卡收齐后统一打包并邮寄回上海新纪元教育集团统一批阅，让我们共同期待学生们的精彩成绩。

After an hour of answering, the students each turned in a satisfactory answer sheet. The invigilator will collect the students' answer cards and mail them back to Shanghai New Epoch Education Group for unified review, so let's look forward to the students' wonderful results.
