近日，涪陵外国语学校高中部召开了“新高考政策解读暨选科培训会”。王部长从高考之变、高中生涯规划实质探索、新高考下选科政策三个方面，就新高考改革的问题系列对高一学生进行讲解。

译：Recently, a lecture themed “an interpretation of the new policy of NCEE and subjects selection” has been held by the senior high school department of Fuling Foreign Languages School. Wang Qiang, the department director, delivered this lecture from three aspects: the change of the NCEE policy, the exploration of the essence of career planning and the policy of subjects selection under the new National College Entrance Examination. He later explained varieties of puzzles about the reform of the new NCEE policy to Grade One students.

王部长着重介绍了新高考与旧高考的区别，新高考在考试方式、考试科目、考试时间、赋分制计算方式、志愿填报等方面发生巨大改变。在新高考改革背景下，传统高考的文理分科变向多种组合选科制，对学生而言既是潜力的发扬但也是智力的角逐，因此，弄清其中变化更是至关重要。

译：Mr. Wang highlighted the differences between the new college entrance examination and the old one. The new one has undergone tremendous changes in test methods, subjects, time duration, scoring system and application filling policy. Under the background of the reform of the new college entrance examination, the traditional division of Arts and Science has changed to a variety of combined subject selection system, which offers students not only opportunities to individual potential development, but also create intellectual competitions for them, making it urgent and essential to understand the changes.

新高考学科制度变化，要求学生必须做好生涯规划。因此，王部长紧接着阐述了中学生生涯规划的实践探索，让学生要充分认识自己，认识外界，加强职业体验及日常实践活动，明确职业定位，然后选定专业，最后确定科目选择。从内到外，从理想到现实多方位结合，让学生在如何进行生涯规划的问题上，有了明确的指向。

译：The change requires students to make career planning in advance. Hence, Wang then elaborated on the exploration of career planning, so as to help students have a better understanding of themselves and the outside world. He added that before selecting suitable subjects the freshmen should enrich their professional experience and daily activities and have a clear picture of career positioning. As a whole, the lecture offered students fascinating insights into future career planning.

最后，王部长针对变化多元的高考提出了解决策略，综合各项因素找准优势学科，辨别自身优势；借助生涯规划，明确人生方向；参考高校专业录取科目限定，从而确定科目选择。

译：At the end of the lecture, Mr. Wang put forward solutions to the diversified NCEE policy. First, students should integrate various factors to identify their own preponderant subjects and advantages. Second, work out future orientation while planning career. Third, select subjects based on the reference to college admission details.
