晴雪洗山，冰皮始解，一元复始，大地回春，初春的校园，娟然如拭。2022年2月17日，在悠扬的乐曲和欢快的舞蹈伴随下，涪陵外国语学校4000多名教职员工和学生家长代表齐聚学校标准化的足球场上，隆重举行2022年春开学典礼暨家校合作育人表彰大会，本次大会的主题是：筑梦涪外，领跑未来。校长魏昌龙作新学期寄语。

译：Winter has gone quietly, and the spring we are looking forward to has come slowly. On February 17th, 2022, accompanied by melodious music and cheerful dances, more than 4,000 staff, students and parent representatives gathered on the school's standardized football field to attend the 2022 Spring Opening Ceremony and the Commending Conference for Home-School Cooperation and Education. The theme of the ceremony is to build a dream for the campus and to lead the future. Principal Wei Changlong delivered an important speech.

诲语谆谆，箴言洗耳，振奋人心。在热烈的掌声中，校长魏昌龙发表了热情洋溢的新学期寄语，他说，在新的历史时期，在第二个一百年实现的新征程中，涪陵外国语学校以“为党育人，为国育才”为使命，以“立德树人，学贯中西“为校训，以培养有中国灵魂国际视野的卓越人为育人目标，让学生有七大好习惯和“四自行为”的人，培养“感恩 责任  健康  激情”的四大品质。

译：In the warm applause, the principal Wei Changlong delivered an enthusiastic speech for the new semester. He said that in the new historical period and the new journey to achieve the second centenary goal, Fuling Foreign Language School took 'cultivating talents for the party and the country' as its mission, and regards 'establish morality for students, and enable students to penetrate all kinds of knowledge in China and the West’ as the campus motto. He also said that the school would cultivate the next generation of outstanding talents with Chinese soul and international vision, allowing students to become the people with seven good habits, ‘four independent behaviors’, and four characters of gratitude, responsibility, health and passion.

面对新学期，他希望毕业年级每个同学都取得优异的成绩，希望全体同学和教师一起以春天的名义播下希望和成功的种子，与时俱进，只争朝夕；一起昂首挺胸走进有希望的2022年，为中华之强大而奋发读书，一起为实现卓越学校而奋斗不息！

译：Facing the new semester, he hoped that every student in the graduating year could achieve excellent results, and all students and teachers would sow the seeds of hope and success in the name of spring. We should keep pace with the times, making the best use of our time; we should walk into the hopeful year of 2022 with our heads held high, study hard for the strength of China, and work together to create an excellent school!

The ceremony ended after singing the school anthem and raising the school flag and the month-themed flag.
