2022年5月，是重庆市涪陵外国语学校首届科技活动月，在这一个月时间里，学校开展了包括培训、科技制作、科技竞赛等非常丰富的系列科普活动。5月25日晚，涪陵外国语学校小学部全体学生和家长，又迎来了一场别开生面的科普讲座——来自重庆市涪陵区食品药品检验所的哥哥姐姐们为孩子带来的《“安全用妆，携手‘童’行”儿童化妆品知识科普讨论活动》。

译：May is the first scientific and technological activity month of Chongqing Fuling Foreign Language School in 2022. During this month, the school carried out a series of popular science activities including training, technology production, and technology competitions. On the evening of May 25th, all the students and parents of the primary school from Fuling Foreign Language School participated in a special science lecture - staff from the Food and Drug Inspection Institute of Fuling District presented a Children's cosmetics knowledge science discussion activity named ‘Use cosmetics safely and move forward with children’.

在化妆品普及的时代，小孩子们也都有属于自己的化妆品了。但市面上琳琅满目的儿童化妆品真的安全吗？我们应该如何正确选择儿童化妆品呢？

译：In the era of popularization of cosmetics, children also have their own cosmetics. But are the dazzling array of children's cosmetics on the market really safe? How should we choose children's cosmetics correctly?

为进一步提高学生们对儿童化妆品安全知识的认知水平和自我保护能力，让孩子从小注意正确护理、保护皮肤的观念。在“525国际爱肤日”到来之际，涪陵外国语学校特邀涪陵区食品药品检验所的老师们，就广大师生家长关心的儿童化妆品安全等问题为三年级的学生们带来了一场以“安全用妆，携手童行”为主题的科普讲座。同时，小学部其它年级学生在教室看直播，全体家长也通过手机抖音平台同步收看现场直播。

译：In order to further improve the level of students' knowledge about the safety of children's cosmetics and to develop their self-protection ability, and to enable them to form the concept of correct skin care and protection from childhood, on the occasion of the ‘5.25th International Skin Care Day’, Fuling Foreign Language School invited some staff from the Food and Drug Inspection Institute of Fuling District to give a science lecture to the third-grade students in terms of the safety problems of children's cosmetics which teachers, students and parents paid attention to. At the same time, students of other grades in the primary school watched the live broadcast in the classroom, and all parents also watched the live broadcast simultaneously through the Douyin app.

此次讲座谢老师从“什么是儿童化妆品、儿童化妆品的标签标识、儿童化妆品的要求、如何选择儿童化妆品”这四个方面做了详细的讲解，让师生家长深刻的知道了以后该如何正确的选购化妆品。

译：In this lecture, Miss Xie gave a detailed explanation from four aspects-‘what is children's cosmetics; labeling of children's cosmetics; requirements of children's cosmetics; how to choose children's cosmetics", allowing teachers, students and parents to attain a profound understanding of how to correctly choose and buy cosmetics in the future.

讲座过程氛围浓厚，学生们积极主动地提问题，谢老师也耐心的为学生们解答，让师生们在快乐中获取知识。

译：The atmosphere of the whole lecture was good. The students asked questions actively, and Miss Xie patiently answered the questions for the students, allowing them to acquire knowledge in joy.

本次活动，有效提升了大家对儿童化妆品安全的认知水平，引导家长在日常生活中正确选择儿童化妆品、纠正儿童化妆品使用误区，引导广大师生家长正确认识儿童化妆品功效以及科普购买儿童化妆品的注意事项，倡导科学护肤，保护儿童用妆安全。同时，作为涪外首届科技活动月系列活动之一，也再次让全校孩子们懂得学科学用科学讲科学的深刻道理。

译：This activity has effectively improved everyone's knowledge level of the children's cosmetics safety, guided parents to properly choose children's cosmetics in daily life, and corrected some misunderstanding of children's cosmetics. In addition, this activity also enabled the majority of teachers, students and parents to exactly understand the efficacy of children's cosmetics and the precautions when purchasing children's cosmetics to advocate scientific skin care and protect children's makeup safety. At the same time, as one of the monthly series of activities in  Fuling Foreign Language School, this once again allow children of the whole school to understand the profound truth of learning science, exploring science, and using science.
