党的十八大以来，以习近平同志为核心的党中央审时度势、高瞻远瞩，坚持把立德树人作为教育的根本任务，强调“为谁培养人、培养什么人、怎样培养人”始终是教育的根本问题。为此，涪陵外国语学校于8月29日举行了班主任培训会，德育中心负责人、党总支副书记姚珊作了《严肃制度，坚持标准，立德树人，做卓越教育》为主题的讲座，党总支书记、副校长乐三奎作了指导。

译：Since the Eighteenth National Congress of the CPC began, the Party Central Committee with President Xi at its core has awaited the proper moment and taken a broad and long view. They insisted on strengthening morality education as the fundamental task, emphasizing that “for whom to train people, who to train, and how to train people” were always the fundamental issues of education. To this end, Fuling Foreign Language School held a training conference of class advisors on August 29th. Yao Shan, head of the Moral Education Center and Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch, gave a lecture with the theme of “Rigorously enforce rules and regulations, adhere to standards, and foster virtue through education to achieve excellent education”. In addition, Party branch secretary and vice president Le Sankui gave guidance.

培训会上，姚书记从党中央习近平总书记的要求入手，说明德育在学校教育和青年成长中的重要地位和作用。让全体班主任明确“为谁培养人？”这个问题，必须明确自己的责任“为党育人，为国育才。”

译：At the training conference, Secretary Yao started her speech from the requirements of General Secretary Xi Jinping of the Party Central Committee and explained the important position and role of moral education in school education and youth growth. Secretary Yao asked all the class advisors to clarify the question of "who are we training people for?", requiring every teacher to define their responsibilities about "educating people for the party and cultivating talents for the country."

学校的育人目标是“培养有中国灵魂世界眼光卓越人”，因此，姚书记指出学校德育工作以党的十九大和历次全会精神为指导，坚持立德树人这一根本任务，以做“卓越教育”为办学理念，努力让学校成为“涪陵第一、重庆前茅、全国知名”的名校。

译：The educational goal of our school is “to cultivate outstanding people with Chinese soul and world vision”. Therefore, Secretary Yao pointed out that the school's moral education work was guided by the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the spirit of all previous plenary sessions, adhered to the fundamental task of building morality and cultivating people. We will take “excellent education” as the schooling philosophy , and try to make the school a famous school which is "the first in Fuling, the best in Chongqing, and well-known in China".

接着，姚书记明确了工作思路。要求大家用激情教育点燃学习激情，并阐述了德育工作的具体举措。同时详细解读了学校一系列德育工作制度，对学校德育系列活动进行安排，如何抓好德育常规，如何进行活动设计等进行培训。

译：Then, Secretary Yao clarified the work ideas. She asked everyone to make advantage of  passion education to ignite the students’ enthusiasm of learning, and explained some specific measures of moral education work. At the same time, she stated in detail a series of moral education work systems in the school, and made arrangements for numerous moral education activities of the school, including how to do a good job of moral education routines, how to design activities and so on.

教育需要用心，德育需要用情。只要我们足够用心，足够负责，就能和孩子们一起享受教育的幸福，让他们对未来、对挑战无所畏惧，自信从容！
