杨小琴老师，一个在涪外工作多年的员工，为了照顾好班级的孩子，工作上兢兢业业，从来没有请过一天假。讲台上用心教导孩子们的是她；运动场上和孩子们一起嬉戏是她；食堂里端着饭盆，一勺勺给孩子们添饭的是她，手把手教孩子们叠被子，学习生活自理能力的是她；那抚摸孩子们的头，嘘寒问暖的也是她……那时刻展现的笑容里，带给孩子们的是如慈母般的疼爱，阳光般的温暖，和积极向上的人生态度。

在今年的暑假，天气异常酷热，火热的夏日里爱心故事有很多很多，但最让人感动的是您——杨小琴老师。杨老师一直身体不适，本想着一放假就去检查身体的杨老师，为了家校共育，主动请缨参加学校的家访活动，就为了更好地了解孩子们，把自己的那份爱亲自送到孩子们的家里；为了照顾参加紫荆花培训的学生，又在岗位上坚持了半个月。好不容易休息下来，去医院检查，就被医生告知得了“原位癌”，要立刻做手术进行器官全切除，否则会转移的，医生如晴天霹雳般的话并没有打倒杨老师，而是果断手术，为的就是尽快让身体能恢复，继续回到涪外当孩子们的老师！

从清晨到傍晚，看到工作了一天的杨老师，她佝偻着背，丝毫没有往日的神采，但笑容依旧，还在不停的清扫着，收拾着，一边干一边说：别拍我哈，这是我的本职工作，生活部的姐妹们都帮着我，关照着我的，我丈夫回家照顾家里去了，我今天就在学校住下，就不让他来接我啦，我今天不累，我感觉好幸福……杨老师，您朴实的话语，激情满怀的工作态度，让我们认识了人生最美的样子，更是您，让我们明白了老师那份无上的责任和担当！
