为了弘扬雷锋精神，深入开展向雷锋同志学习活动，我校积极响应党总支号召，在校团委和少先大队的组织下，我校青年志愿者服务队走进宏善养老服务中心；开展了学雷锋月的首个活动——“传承雷锋精神，争做新时代好少年”的主题团（队）日活动。

译：In order to carry forward the spirit of Lei Feng and carry out in-depth learning activities from Comrade Lei Feng, our school’s Youth League committee and Young Pioneers went into Hongshan old people’s home. The first activity of learning from Lei Fengyue Month was carried out -- the theme group (team) day activity of "Inheriting the spirit of Lei Feng and striving to be a good young man in the New era".

首先映入老人们眼帘的，是妙趣横生的节目汇演。从阳光活力的舞蹈串烧，到一年级小志愿者甜美的歌声，悠扬婉转的古筝独奏；再到温婉典雅的古典舞，最后全体志愿者一起为老人们献上歌伴舞《跪羊图》为汇演画上了完美的句点。轻歌曼舞，余音绕梁，青春的气息扑面而来，瞬间拉近了与老人之间的距离，让老人感受到了社会的温暖。

译：The students gave wonderful performances; from the sunshine and vitality of the dance to the sweet singing of first grade volunteers; from melodious and graceful guzheng solo to the gentle and elegant classical dance. Finally all the volunteers together danced "Kneeling Sheep"for the old people,which painted a perfect end to the performance. Singing and dancing not only instantly narrowed the distance between the old men and us but also made the old men feel the warmth of the society.

表演结束后，我校党总支书记乐三奎代表学校为敬老院送去了爱心慰问金，带队领导及老师与志愿者一起，为所有老人分发了慰问的礼品，并送上了温暖体贴的问候。有的依照不同老人的性格与他们进行更好的互动，捶捶背、捏捏肩、聊聊天，将温情融进了老人们的心中；有的就将一切敬与爱都表现在了默默无闻的行动里，主动拿起扫帚帮老人清洁房间，整理内务。令人感动的是，在活动中，老人对志愿者说:“平时生活都挺枯燥，但今天有了这些好孩子的陪伴，就感觉不孤独了”。

译：After the performance, Sankui Le, Secretary of Party General  Branch of our school, on behalf of the school, sent the sympathy expense to the old people’s home. Together with the team leaders, teachers and volunteers, they distributed the gifts of sympathy to all the elderly people and sent warmth and considerate greetings. Some people have better interaction with the old people according to their personalities by thumping their backs, kneading their shoulders and chatting, which brings warmth into the hearts of the old people. Someone just picked up the broom to help the old man clean the room, tidy up the house. An old man said to the volunteer feelingly: "Life is usually quite boring, but today with the company of these good children, I don't feel lonely."

志愿活动很快进入尾声，志愿者和老人们一一告别。他们相处的时间虽然很短暂，但这却丰富了老人的生活，为他们增添了青春的色彩，也让志愿者们更加深刻地认识到敬老爱老的意义，也让志愿之风在社会上得以传播，让“敬老、爱老、助老”的传统美德进一步得到继承发扬。相信，我们明天会继续捧出真诚之心，拿出实际行动，为更多的老人撑起一片更美的天！

译：The volunteer activity soon came to an end, and the volunteers said goodbye to the elderly one by one. Although the time is very short, it enriches the life of the elderly. It makes volunteers realize the significance of respecting and loving the old. On the other hand the spirit of volunteerism will be widely spread in the society. I believe that all of us will take actions soon to create a more beautiful future for the elderly people!
