译：Chinese literature is broad and profound. The moon has been the source of poems since the ancient time. So many people miss their hometown and lover by looking at the moon over the past thousands of years. The moon on the Mid-Autumn Festival is always the tool for poets to express their feelings. To sufficiently find out the meaning of the Mid-Autumn Festival, carry forward the Chinese traditional culture and stimulate teachers‘ and students’ patriotism, Chongqing Fuling Foreign Language School organized an activity named “The round moon and the great China, inherit and spread classical culture” to make students contact, learn, recite and love classic culture. Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, our country and our people are more and more strong and rich. Let’s propagate our classic traditional culture together on the Mid-Autumn Festival.

“但愿人长久，千里共婵娟。”各学部给学生讲述关于中秋节的来历，并且倡议每位同学节日期间做到“家圆”——帮爸爸妈妈做些力所能及的事，“人圆”——给在无法团聚的远方的亲人发一条节日祝福短信，“国圆”——为祖国的繁荣富强、早日统一立下壮志。各班开展搜集与中秋节有关的故事、诗歌、书籍主题活动。

译：“We wish each other a long life so as to share the beauty of this graceful moonlight, even though miles apart.” Each department told students about the origins of the Mid-Autumn Festival, and recommended that every student should help parents do what they can during the holiday season. The school encouraged students to send a holiday message to their relatives who cannot go home to reunite in the distance, and set up aspirations for the prosperity and early reunification of the motherland. Each class carried out activities to collect stories, poems, and books related to the Mid-Autumn Festival.
