为了培养孩子们的动手能力，进一步提高学校食堂员工的业务水平。12月21日下午，重庆市涪陵外国语学校开展了2021年冬至节包饺子活动暨第五届食堂员工技能大赛。部分家长、老师、学生代表参与活动并担任比赛评委，全体行政领导及后勤保障部全体干部职工参与活动。

活动开始前，学校后勤保障部部长邓飞宣读了活动方案。根据安排，下午2点至4点是食堂员工技能比赛，随着副校长乐三奎宣布比赛正式开始，现场奏响了锅碗瓢勺交响曲，气氛十分热烈，精彩纷呈。员工们把日常保障供给的点心、窗口菜、普通菜等品种，作为业务技能比赛的重点，纷纷拿上台面。迎来了现场评委及老师们的阵阵掌声。

The employees displayed dim sum, window dishes, ordinary dishes and other varieties as the focus of the cooking skills competition, which ushered in bursts of applause from the judges and teachers on site.

时间转眼到了下午四点，孩子们排着整齐的队伍有序进入指定的区域，看到生活老师们事先准备好的白花花的饺子皮儿和诱人的三鲜馅儿，个个兴奋到了极点。在食堂阿姨和老师们的指导下，孩子们开始动手了。有的漫不经心地把皮儿放在手上，放一大勺馅儿在里面，再小心翼翼地把皮卷起来；有的争先恐后地包起来，生怕少包了两个；有的边包边交流反思。不一会儿，盘子里装满了奇形怪状的饺子。有的像“丑小鸭”，有的像“大蜗牛”，还有的像极了“小笼包”……当然也有的孩子包出来的就是真正的“饺子”

After seeing the dumpling wrappers and the three attractive ingredients prepared by the life teachers in advance, every child was very excited. Under the guidance of the staff and teachers in the dining room, the children started to make dumplings. Some children put the skin on their hands or put a large spoonful of stuffing in it, and then carefully roll up the skin; Some students scrambled to make it; Some students communicated with classmates while making dumplings. After a while, the plate was filled with dumplings of various shapes. Some dumplings resembled “ugly ducklings” and “big snails”, and some resembled “small steamed bun”...Of course, some children made real "dumplings".

啦啦啦……今天的晚餐真正好，自做的饺子管吃饱。晚餐时间，孩子们双手捧着自己亲手包的饺子，吃在嘴里乐在心里。

最后，学校校长魏昌龙为本次活动获奖员工颁发奖品并对活动作总结。他要求：一是要通过此次比武活动，强化岗位练兵意识，不断提高自身业务水平；二是要将比赛的心态和水平融入到平时的工作中去，用心用情做好自己的本职工作；三是要充分利用每一个传统节日，从吃上下功夫，让全校师生吃出文化味；四是要不断加强劳动技术教育和动手能力的培养。员工们纷纷表示，会以此次活动为契机，不断加强学习，提升自己，以更加饱满的热情投入到今后的工作中去。
