2022年4月21日，涪陵区政协常委、区知联会会长、涪陵榨菜集团总经理赵平带领涪陵区政协委员、涪陵区党外知识分子联谊会成员一行22人莅临涪陵外国语学校，就全力推进高新区教育优先发展，加速发展开展调查研究，校长魏昌龙及学校行政领导陪同调研。

赵会长首先调研了学校素质教育开展情况，实地考察了心理健康教育、游泳、播音主持、舞蹈、国际象棋、跆拳道、乒乓球等课堂教学情况，参观了心理健康教育中心、学生书法、中医中药进学校基地、模特队、街舞、大学老师进学校开设美术课堂等。深入学生食堂和学生宿舍，对食堂的劳动文化、勤俭节约文化建设、学生优良的住宿条件、学生的精神风貌给予充分肯定。

参观校园

实地参观调研后，在三楼会议室召开了座谈会，校长魏昌龙向赵会长一行介绍了学校基本情况，汇报了学校办学成就，谈了对办好基础教育的认识，从关心师生的角度希望各位委员能够进一步加强对学校办学的支持力度。他说，从几年的办学实践看，涪陵外国语学校是提升涪陵基础教育实力的重要力量，带动了高新区教育水平的提升，推动了经济社会的发展，带动了第三产业在新区的发展，解决了300多人的就业问题，促进了社会和谐稳定；重庆38个区县的学生汇聚到涪陵外国语学校，他们在涪外接受到的良好教育、取得的喜人成绩，提升了涪陵新区的知名度；这些同学对涪外的高度认可和积极评价，起到了宣传涪陵教育巨大作用，涪外已经成为宣传涪陵建设和发展成就的活广告。

涪陵区政协常委、区知联会会长赵平在座谈会上指出，涪陵外国语学校办学经验是一个值得推广的模式，在涪陵外国语学校到处都能够看到先进的育人文化，学生在这里能够释放天性和身心，每位同学都能够选择到适合自己成长的沃土。所到之处，都能够看到涪陵外国语学校办学的成绩，涪外是学习之地、阳光之地、高品质教育之地。他说，原来对涪外还真不够了解，今天才知道涪陵外国语学校各项成绩名列前茅，形成了区域教育高地，对涪陵区教育质量提升起到了鲢鱼效应，解决了很多学校难以解决的教育问题，办成了很多学校想办而办不成的事情，得到了百姓的赞誉。

赵会长希望，涪外要进一步创新发展思路，探索与高新区相关学校深度合作办学，走好集团化办学之路，拓展办学空间，扩大办学规模，让涪陵更多的学生能够接受到涪外的高质量教育。他也希望到会的各位委员，尽可能呼吁、帮助涪陵外国语学校解决交通不直达江南老城、不直达动车站等问题，协调定期开通重庆主城到涪陵外国语学校的客运专班。

译：Chairman Zhao hoped that Fuling Foreign Language School could further innovate in the development ideas, explore in-depth cooperation with schools in the Gaoxin District, take the road of group-based school-running, expand the school-running space, and broaden the school-running scale so that more students in Fuling could receive high-quality education from Fuling Foreign Language School. He also hoped that all the members participating in the meeting could appeal and help Fuling Foreign Language School as much as possible to solve the problems (such as the inaccessibility of traffic to the old city of Jiangnan and the train station), and negotiate to develop a special bus for passenger transport from the central city of Chongqing to Fuling Foreign Language School at regular intervals.
