为了激发学生学习英语的兴趣，提高学生学习英语的效率，丰富学生的英语学习生活，全面提升学生的英语素养。在上海新纪元教育集团主办，上海外国语大学教育集团融合课程中心承办下，上外“语阅”首届外语风采大会于2022年11月23日在我校顺利举行。

译：In order to stimulate students' interest in learning English, improve their efficiency in learning English, enrich their English learning life and improve their English literacy, the First Foreign Language Style Conference of Shanghai New Era Education Group was successfully held in our school on November 23, 2022. It is organized by Shanghai New Era Education Group and hosted by Shanghai International Studies University Education Group Integration Course Center.

此次活动开场火爆，涉及三大赛区，20所学校。我校七、八年级共有659名学生积极参加此次活动。

译：The event started off with a bang, involving three major regions and 20 schools. A total of 659 students from our 7th and 8th grades actively participated in the event.

赛前，涪陵外国语学校初中英语组进行了精心准备，严格按照疫情防控要求和集团比赛规定，安排组赛事项。开赛前二十分钟，学生们积极入场，监考教师分发专属于川渝赛区的参赛证和参赛手环，考生们脸上洋溢起了好奇、开心而自信的笑容。

译：Before the competition, Fuling Foreign Language School's junior high school English group made careful preparations and arranged the group's competition matters in strict accordance with the epidemic prevention and control requirements and the competition rules and regulations. Twenty minutes before the start of the competition, students actively entered, the invigilators distributed the participation cards and bracelets exclusively for the Sichuan and Chongqing competitions, and the candidates' faces were filled with curious, happy and confident smiles.

开赛前十五分钟，监考教师分发作答单后认真仔细贴上条形码；十分钟后，监考教师分发比赛任务单，学生们好奇的看着精美的任务单，自信的准备答题。随着一声铃响，考试正式开始，学生们全身心投入到比赛中，沉着冷静、认真作答......经过一个小时的作答，学生们各自上交了一份满意的答卷。

译：Fifteen minutes before the start of the competition, the invigilator distributed the answer sheets and carefully affixed the barcode; ten minutes later, the invigilator distributed the competition task sheets, and the students looked at the exquisite task sheets curiously and prepared to answer the questions confidently. With a bell ringing, the exam officially began. The students were fully engaged in the competition, calmly and carefully answering ...... After an hour of answering, the students each turned in a satisfactory answer sheet.

此次外语风采大会，不仅给学生们提供了一个展示自我、彰显特长的舞台，更提高了学生们学习英语的积极性、自信心，让孩子们遨游在英语知识世界的海洋。

译：This foreign language style conference not only provided a stage for students to showcase themselves and their strengths, but also increased their enthusiasm and self-confidence in learning English and allowed them to swim in the ocean of English knowledge.
