2022年9月6日涪陵外国语学校召开新入职教师座谈会，校长魏昌龙发表了讲话，他强调，因为各位老师的优秀而成为涪外大家庭的一员，希望在涪外这个优秀的平台上追求卓越，创造新的辉煌。

译：On September 6th, 2022, Fuling Foreign Language School held a symposium for newly recruited teachers. At the meeting, Headmaster Wei Changlong delivered a speech. He hoped that every teacher who joined the school because of their great achievement would continue to pursue excellence and create new glories on this platform.

座谈会由校长助理邓飞主持，第一项，新入职教师自我介绍。他们在发言中赞赏学校的文化、完备的硬件设施，优美的风景，食堂的美味佳肴，特别是对学校所取得的成就更是赞赏有加，涪外创造了办学“神话”，这样的奇迹只能在涪外发生。通过他们的介绍，48位教师担起了教育教学的“四梁八柱”，可以用“四面八方群英聚会，成双成对骨干荟萃”来形容这个群体，新教师新担当，定能开创教育的新纪元。

译：This symposium was chaired by Deng Fei, the headmaster's assistant. First, the newly recruited teachers introduced themselves. In their speeches, they thought highly of the campus culture, complete hardware facilities, beautiful scenery and delicious food in the cafeteria. They were especially appreciative of the school's achievements. In reality, Fuling Foreign Language school has created the "myth" of running a school, and such miracles can only happen here. Through their introduction, 48 teachers have borne the responsibility as the backbone of education and teaching, which can be described as "a galaxy of talents gathered together and numerous backbones came in pairs." We believe that new teachers have new responsibilities and will surely open a new epoch of education.

第二项，工会主席（学校首批教师）朱丽君介绍学校发展历程。通过大量的照片，展示了涪外克难攻坚、追求卓越的感人篇章；以及在魏校长的“抓内涵、提质量、细服务、促发展、创品牌”的引领下，践行激情教育，打造卓越涪外，取得举世瞩目的成就。

译：Then, Zhu Lijun, the chairman of the trade union (the first group of schools’ teachers) introduced the development process of the school. Presenting a large number of photos, she showed the touching chapter of the school overcoming difficulties and pursuing excellence. In addition, she explained that the school has practiced passionate education and attained world-renowned achievements under Headmaster Wei's concept of “focusing on connotation, improving quality, refining services, promoting development, and creating brands”.

第三项，教师代表张寒发言。她声情并茂介绍自己在涪陵外国语学校的成长历程。从张寒老师的发言中能够感受到，学校呵护每一位来到涪外这片沃土的有志青年，给每位员工创造最优秀的工作环境、提供发挥特长的平台，全力打造精英团队。

译：In the third stage, the teacher representative Zhang Han made a speech. She stated her growth in Fuling Foreign Language School with deep feeling. From Zhang Han’s speech, we can feel that our school takes care of every aspiring young teacher who comes to this fertile land, creates the best working environment for every employee, provides a platform which can exert their strengths to build an elite team. 

校长魏昌龙在认真听取大家的发言后，做了《怎么样成为民办学校的优秀教师》的讲话。魏校长说，你们因为优秀来此，但是这个优秀只能代表过去。来到涪外，还需要大家从以下四个方面继续努力。

一是要用学校文化统领自己的教育教学。首先要快速融入学校的文化中，要了解学校文化体系，理解学校的文化内涵。其次，要根据学校文化来确定班风班规班训，把立德树人、学贯中西，卓越教育，只争第一贯穿到教育教学的始终。第三，要把涪外文化、涪外精神与自己的生活有机结合起来。涪外是追求幸福的，倡导“家文化”，涪外是大家庭，需要大家来热爱；涪外也会关注每位教师的幸福快乐，希望每位老师家庭和睦，生活幸福，身体健康。

二是熟知学校的规章制度，特别是学校的“星级员工”制度、目标管理捆绑考核制度。学校做的是卓越教育，倡导只争第一的价值追求。对学生、教师要求的是全面发展，优秀教师要善于教学、善于研究、善于写作，善于沟通。每年要有文章发表，赛课要获奖，学生成绩要优秀，家长要满意。

三是要懂市场，有效益意识。懂市场，就是要学会算大账，安全稳定零事故是最大的效益，教学、招生、留生同等重要，学校的十三条禁令是红线、高压线，处处维护学校的利益是懂市场的起码要求。

四是必须要有教育情怀。有教育情怀是做好教育教学工作的起点。有了教育情怀就不会斤斤计较，有了教育情怀就知道怎么样利用好学校这个大舞台，有了教育情怀就知道自己的使命担当。无私奉献是最大的幸福；心有多大，学校的舞台就有多大；教师的使命，就是培养出一个优秀的学生，幸福三代人。

魏校长在会上还分享了自己30多年的教学经历、教学经验，用具体生动的案例，告诫新教师，让学生能够记住的老师才是好老师。

魏校长最后强调，教师用知识征服学生，用人格感染学生，用情感留住学生，在涪外追求卓越教育过程中，争取更多的荣光。
